What is Dr. KYMN?

Dr. KYMN (Kentucky Medicaid Notebook) is a plain-language guide to Kentucky Medicaid and KCHIP. It summarizes eligibility rules, the application process, renewals, and related programs in plain English — short pages, no jargon. It is not an official government website.

Who made it?

This site was made by Sleeping Bear Labs, a small software studio in Lexington, Kentucky. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services, DCBS, KHBE, or any other government agency.
